In central Stockholm, nestled within the historical grandeur of Öskaret 1, lies a modern marvel of interior design. United Spaces, one of Sweden’s premier coworking firms—backed by real estate giant Castellum—has redefined the concept of collaborative workspaces. Spanning an impressive 4,220 m2, our project at Torsgatan 26 is a testament to the symbiotic relationship between past and present, where the old and new coexist in perfect harmony.

Our mandate was clear yet challenging: to craft an environment that not only respects but also revitalizes the architectural essence of Ferdinand Boberg’s 1906 masterpiece. Our objective was to thread this architectural lineage through a modern narrative that speaks to contemporary entrepreneurs and innovators.

At the confluence of history and future, the United Spaces office emanates a unique vibrancy. Original oak panelled walls and creaking floors serve as the canvas for our design exploration, blending seamlessly with authentic custom-designed furnishings and select modern design classics. It’s a dialogue between epochs, where every element contributes to a story of advancement and tradition intertwined.

Beyond office spaces, United Spaces at Torsgatan 26 emerges as a bustling nucleus of social and recreational activity. With chic bars and gourmet restaurants integrated within its confines, it offers an eclectic mix for the discerning palette. The addition of a Paddle court in the courtyard infuses a dose of wellness and leisure, echoing the modern professional’s pursuit of a balanced lifestyle.
